I am writing this letter on behalf of Shane Gilchrist and Gilchrist Masonry. Shane has been a long time co-worker and friend. We have had a very strong working relationship over the last 15 years. Shane has executed all my foundation work as well as Rock, patio and chimney work. I have witnessed his business grow tremendously over the years while still upholding a great work ethic as well as consistently maintaining good quality workmanship. outstanding job you did with the stonework on our home.
I don’t know if it was mentioned to you that we are from Pennsylvania which is a state known for its stonework. From our earliest meetings with contractors, Kim and I have emphasized the stonework details in the house and how important they are to us. You have exceeded our expectations with each stone project! We were blown away with the stone wall and fireplace surround on the screened porch. Of course our favorite feature is the stone waterfall and stone infinity pool edge facing the golf course. We know how much finessing went into this. We’re so pleased with natural look and how it all blends into the landscape. You are a master! So thank you for giving our new home its unique character!

I am writing in regards to Shane Gilchrist and Gilchrist Masonry Inc. I have known Shane since he was a child, and I watched him grow up working with his father in his father’s masonry business. Shane has always been a hard worker and very detail oriented. His character and integrity are above reproach.

I am writing to say that Shane Gilchrist and his company are not only excellent to do business with but he personally a good man. I have known Shane and his family for over 40 years. Shane Gilchrist and his employees have the best interests of their customers; they are honest and have excellent work ethic.
Shane and his company did the masonry work on my current house. They were the ground breakers, they dug and poured the footers, laid my foundation, built a solid masonry fireplace and chimney on my patio, laid a beautiful patio floor, a stone profile inside my living room, a rock bar, stone laid on my foundation, stone walls, several stone floors and walks, massive stone steps and a stone bridge. They worked on my house for a little more than a year and I am very pleased, not only did I get the best quality that will last, it is truly beautiful work. Everyone who comes to my home always has something wonderful to say about Shane’s masonry work. Shane and his men cared about what I wanted; they took pride in their work and in their good reputations. Shane is extremely fair and goes out of his way to make certain that anyone he is working for and his employees are happy. He stands behind his work and if he tells you he will do something he will do it.
I would recommend Shane Gilchrist and his company to anyone who wanted any type of masonry work. I would give him a personal recommendation any day as well. He is a good, upstanding, hardworking, honest man who cares about his family, his customers, his employees, and people in general. I used his father for work on another house we built 35 years ago and will be using them again if the need arises.
